Playing Evil Genius: Dawdling to Doomsday

I may stick with it in future, time'll tell. Evil Genius is a game I mucked around in a lot as a kid, coming back now with an honest intent to beat it was eye opening in some ways, I adore its looks but the gameplay I found a bit trickier to get into.

I'm rather surprised this game is how it is. NerdCubed put it at 100 in his top 100 games a while back, and that's the only way I've heard of this game. Maybe it was the OST and the aesthetics. Anyway, I'd like to ask a few questions. 1-How would you compare this to any bullfrog games you've played? 2-Would you give the game a stab again with a higher unit cap? 3-Completely unrelated to the game, are you thinking about looking at super cloudbuilt at some point?
