You know what I 100% buy that Bertha Jorkin theory being the original explanation for the weird baby Voldemort just because it provides an explanation for why she exists in this book

2020-03-23 23:26:52 +0000 UTCI actually do kind of buy that Nagini being a human woman was planned in advance just because I could see it having been a reveal around this point that might have actually, like, meant something in the context of the story instead of just being a random bit of trivia dropped years later
