I am decidedly not a VN kinda guy - just not how my brain is wired I guess, I dunno - but damn it if Xeecee and Liz won't make me play one eventually, because listening to them talk about Umineko and Higurashi the past few weeks (months? who can tell?) has been an absolute delight.

2020-10-04 17:47:58 +0000 UTCAs soon as they announced the Blackmilk collab I was hoping there'd be something there for you to talk about. Unfortunate that there is no wild copy to read, though. And I haven't seen the original anime so I'm not sure how much of this is from there too, and/or was totally in the VN and I just didn't pick up on it since I didn't know what was coming. But the main thing I noticed is that they might be setting up Tsumihoroboshi more directly? It's also hard to tell what's just basic setup vs this specifically being the matching question arc, so I'm probably way overthinking it either way, but some little bits with Rena and the scavenger hunt felt like that.
