We also learn about a bunch of aphorisms and other cultural artifacts that surely anyone would recognize, because they've been part of the wizarding world this whole time and definitely not pulled entirely out of the author's ass just now. Finally, we head over to reddit and quora for a grab bag of third segment goodies.

also it's possible JK watched an adaption of a discworld book with ricewind in it because ricewind is a wizard who manages to avoid death a lot and it annoys death.

2021-03-14 08:10:56 +0000 UTCi know the story of the three brothers is presented like a sorta simplified childrens tale but because we, the readers, are supposed to be like oh the hallows are Real i can't help but take it perhaps more literally than is meant. specifically the bit where it's like the 3rd brother only takes off the cloak at the end of his life. just picturing this guy in bed with his wife like sorry babe but the invisibility cloak stays ON during sex
