We wonder aloud what, if anything, this changing of the guard could mean--and then suit up to drop into the Battle of Hogwarts for another chapter filled to the brim with war movie tropes. Once the flashbang wears off and the sound comes back, it's off to the titular Shrieking Shack for a big speech from Voldemort, a snake floating around in a bubble shield, and the passing of one beloved professor. Finally, we play a game trying to identify Fantastic Beast quotes from a list of Mugglenet's "most memorable" scenes from the film--some of which are Nothing, and some of which are kinda eyebrow raising!

honestly thank you for the explanation that the Battle of Hogwarts exists because it came out during the Big Battle era of fantasy films. it all make so much sense now. i feel like Scarlett Johansson in the film where she uses 100% of her brain.

2021-01-29 11:07:35 +0000 UTCWhat’s especially galling about the Room of Requirement stuff is that Voldemort being like “this room is full of all kinds of shit, no one will ever find this in here” is a totally reasonable and fine explanation for why it would be there without having to brain genius out about how he thought he was the only one who knew about it. If he’s supposed to look like a narcissist then this works also because he probably just thought he hid it really well
