Update on what's next!

Hey all--I hope everyone enjoyed the return to the common room. I'm definitely looking forward to recording more of those!

We've still got to hammer out the actual scheduling and details, but I wanted to give an update on the upcoming format we're gonna try. We've been thinking about how best to keep doing what we do; i.e long-form episodes, as well as delivering bonus content for subscribers.

We have so many ideas for books that would be fun and interesting to cover, but 1. busy schedules that make long recordings prohibitive and 2. not all of these books would benefit from going chapter by chapter. Twilight was juuust on the edge of doable for that. So! We're thinking of trying an experimental schedule: big episodes on books rather than chapters, spaced out a bit more rather than weekly, and bonus episodes in between. The actual recording and release schedule we need to decide on, but spacing things out a bit more will give us room to deliver our best without burning out.

We've got so many ideas (and suggestions!) of stuff to cover--Maximum Ride, The Da Vinci Code, The Host, the rest of the Twilight books (I really want to do Life & Death!!) that we might not be able to justify doing chapter by chapter, but would be fun to do long close reads of. Currently, we just haven't been able to make time for anything beyond chapter recordings, but this way we can cover more ground and also do a variety of bonus content--common room eps, game videos, all that good stuff. We're gonna stay flexible, too.

Anyway, I'll have more concrete details to share soon, but I wanted to give an update on the forming plan 🦉
