Ocean's Omega Chapter 1- Teaser
Added 2020-08-06 23:39:41 +0000 UTCAuthor's note: Ok, so first off, Two? Three? Who, You? No, Me! Is not over! More to come, and I am even working on a bonus chapter for after the fic has ended. This is just a fun little teaser. Warning! This will not be getting a new chapter next week. I will be writing more for it, but this is just a teaser of what is to come/for people interest to see what I am thinking of making my next project. It could be a month or longer before updates for this piece become regular. But, definitely tell me if you like it/are interested! I want to be working on things that the patrons want to read! Also, if anyone is craving it, I wouldn't mind doing a movie night where we stream Ocean's 8 in the discord for anyone who might be interested but hasn't seen the movie; or anyone who just wants to watch the movie with me!
Chapter 1
“Her?” Lou dropped her gaze, lowering her sunglasses as she locked her eyes with the woman across the dining table.
“Yes her.” Deb agreed, stealing the last spicy tuna roll.
“Hey! That one was mine!” Chopsticks caught Deb’s before the rice could completely peel off from the cold plate.
“Deal with it.” Deb clicked her tongue against the roof of her mouth, disengaging her chopsticks just long enough to attack from another angle and steal the roll before Lou could even realize it happened.
A growl in the back of the Ocean’s other’s throat and she forfeited the skirmish to win the battle. “You’re insane.”
“She’s perfect.” Deb capitalized on the other alpha’s outrage to steal the last salmon sashimi while she was on top.
“She’s a child!” Lou snapped before finally realized her favorite pieces seemed to be magically disappearing every moment Deb slipped in another outrageous idea.
“She’s fertile.” Deb intentionally stole the other’s drink just to agitate her, staring directly into fierce alpha eyes as she tested her by slurping louder than was necessary at the last dregs of the drink.
“Oh, well if those are the rules we’re working by now, then why not go find some orphan in their first heat? That fair game too? It’d work even better for your plan.” She spat from a mix of disgust and simple distrust of the suggested ninth.
“Nope, doesn't just need to be an omega, needs to be a girl too.”
“Deb!” Lou slammed her fist on the table hard enough to cover the sound of the front door’s bell clinking as someone entered the utterly empty restaurant.
“She’s an adult Lou. Or are you just afraid you can’t keep it up long enough for some twentysomething who's only been knotted t-”
“Wipe that damn smirk off your face or you’ll see just long I can keep it up!” Lou snarled.
“Try me, not like you haven't before.” Deb pumped her eyebrows.
“That’s it! I!” Lou managed to bold up to her feet, knife in hand, and ready to strike when she smelled someone else’s presence.
“Woah there alphas! As much as I’d love to see- oh, and good lord I’d love to see this cock fight.” Daphne bit her lip and gave an approving moan. “Watching you two going at it would just be… scrumptious.”
“Tried it when Deb went to college; remember when you wanted to make an honest living, not just using some baby pup for-”
Debbie cleared her throat to interrupt the other alpha before she let too much slip.
“It didn’t work.” Lou cut with a glare to the omega. “Not without an omega between us at least.”
“Lucky boy.” Daphne groaned at the thought overly approvingly.
“Who said it was a boy?” Lou denied flippantly, tossing her knife down to the table. “And what the hell do you want?”
“Well, Rawr to you too.” Daph made a snarky face to Lou before stealing a chair from another table just to pull it up uncomfortably close to both of the alphas somehow. “And me? Oh, lil old me just has the best heist either of you rubes has ever seen, all… right… here…” She plopped the sizeable stack of papers she had printed out for just this occasion down in front of her.
“Rawr? You- you what? Rubes?” Lou questioned with increasing agitation.
“You heard me.” Daph stared at the alpha unshaken.
“Rubes?!” Lou repeated herself, ready to murder if it weren’t for the fact that she was so excited to tear any and all of Daphne’s ideas to shreds; to prove to her who the true novice was.
“Do tell?” Deb snaked the second to last California roll only for Daphne to steal the last one.
“Insult to injury!” Lou rolled her eyes exasperated. “Are you really going to listen to her on this Deb? Let her come here and call us rubes after we pulled off the only job she’s ever even tangentially been a part of for her!”
“You don’t know, it could be great.” Daphne stuck her tongue out playfully with a small taunting shimmy.
“You little!”
“Down girls!” Deb ordered, already pouring over the pages Daphne had brought to them.
“Deb! You have to be kidding!” Lou reeled. “Tell me you’re kidding!” She almost pleaded, certain she had been sucked into an alternate reality.
“I- I-” Deb stammered breathless, flipping pages as if she had already read them.
“That’s it, this is a setup! It has to be a setup!” Lou forfeited, throwing her hands in the air. “Nine ball? Uugh! Baller?” She turned around in her chair, disgusted that she was actually calling the tech specialist that, but she knew well enough that addressing her by the nickname would be the fastest way to get her to come clean on the prank if there was one. “You can turn off the cameras now! Haha, so funny, you got me! Having Daphne fucking Kluger come in here and call me a damn rube.” She rolled her eyes. “Could you get any greener at this without spontaneously starting photosynthesis?” She snapped at the omega once more.
“Not a setup Lou.” Deb shook her head without looking up from the papers Daphne had brought.
“It has to be! You know what- When the hell did you two plan this ridiculousness?”
“We haven't talked since Claude went to jail.” Daphne leaned into Lou to whisper. “We talked sizes; wanted to know if alphas really are bi-”
“This is ridiculous!” Lou’s rage built.
“No, she’s right. And they are, but even for a beta, he was still…” Deb held up her thumb and index finger insultingly close together but she stayed glued to the pages as she flipped faster and faster.
“I mean, I thought it was satisfactory, but-” Daphne cut herself off the moment she spotted the urge to murder building in the alpha’s eyes.
“You have the fucking nerv-”
“Lou!” Deb finally looked up from the papers.
“God damnit, what Deb?”
“This is our heist.”
“It’s what?” Lou huffed and slumped in her seat, exasperated with it all.
“This is our heist; our job.”
“I knew it was a setup.” Lou rolled her eyes, hoping they might just stick cause that would be easier than having to roll them enough to keep up with these two clowns.
“Lou, it’s not.” Deb cut all the crap, her tone steady and calm in a way that in any other scenario would have snapped Lou out of her disbelief.
“Sure.”
“She’s even got details we only talked about today, ones you came up with! Crist, she even has it down to the date you were deadset on.”
“She wants to rob him? On his birthday?”
Daphne nodded with an eager little hum.
“Right here.” Deb spun the papers in their nice little leather folder around to Lou.
“You’re shitting me.” Lou’s jaw dropped.
“There’s a small detail off here or there… but... “ Deb turned to Daphne. “When the hell did you come up with this? We’ve been planning this for months!”
“Pfft! Rubes! I’ve been planning it for two years.”
“That’s-” Lou looked almost disgusted that the greenhorn had a plan with any semblance of viability, but something so similar to what she and Deb had been cooking? That was an actual insult!
“You’ve been planning this before the checks even cleared on the first round of… Since before we even-”
“Told you you two were rubes.” Daphne crossed her legs and her arms in one overly confident motion; one all to clear in its goal as she framed her low cut dress perfectly to distract the alphas. “And, I’ve got the key to your heist right here.” She just gave her chest the slightest shake as her arms threatened to pop her breasts right out of the fabric.
“You can’t mean-” Lou tried to look across the table to Deb, but something about the pheromones the omega was putting off had her gaze gravitating towards Daphne’s breasts.
“I think she does.” Not even Deb was invulnerable to the allure.
“No! No! Just no!”
“You were the one who didn’t want the child.” Deb’s left eyebrow lifted as a challenge but it was lost on Lou as they both had their eyes locked on the omega’s chest.
“Eyes up here girls.” Daph grinned far too wide as she pointed at her breasts before lifting the two pointing fingers to her eyes. The motion seemed to do something between little and nothing to change the alphas and their leering however.
“You’re going into a heat soon.” Lou growled low.
“Maybe I will? Maybe I won’t?” Daph pulled up her purse before withdrawing a pill packed which held what must have been a years worth of suppressant pills from it; a year and at least half of them had already been taken. “It’ll have to have been denied for at least eight months if this is going to work.”
“Damnit!” Lou gripped the table, some portion of her wanting to flip it just to demonstrate her strength.
“Not fair.” Deb tried to hide how she had almost begun panting.
“So? Are we doing this?”
