The trick is to go very very slowly when you approach. That way you're going to have more control because you're basically going to be touching with the hair that always sticks out of the brush or with the finest tip.

Sergio You paint here incredibly fine lines. How do You do that? I hale same paints and dicent Brusy w&n series7 size 1 with goodyear tip and cant do SO thin lines. What is the secret ? I dóbr dilute the paint much. IT sems You barelly touch the surface. Is taht a secret?

Hi! In this case putting black and purple together for skin blemishes is for two reasons. First is that black if you go up through a color containing pink or blue you get much better control of the light (for example, to make a silk effect). The second is that I personally find black color boring, so I always use some color next to black to create shadows or, in this case, to create a new shade inside the skin.

I love this series, it was great being able to see every detail so closely and learn awesome new ways to paint textures. One thing I have trouble understanding is how to choose what colours to mix highlights with. For example when you highlight the black spots on the skin, you mix a red with a purple and an off white with blue in it. How do you know to choose this?
