BTW that funky looking fire hydrant is a pretty modern redesign which is intended to be much stronger in the case that it gets hit, very cool seeing one in existence!

2022-06-28 18:27:37 +0000 UTCYeah, maybe! It doesn't do anything weird in the software itself. I agree on that last bit - this is a lot less pervasive than the frame drops used to be. Although I believe there was also a little bit of smearing in the Acela First Class video, so if it starts becoming a regular thing I'll give that source video idea a shot...

2022-06-28 18:27:03 +0000 UTCIn terms of that smearing, I'm not entirely sure. One thing you could try is taking the source video into your editing program and exporting *that* into a different format. Might fix things, but also might be too much of a hassle to care about.
