Hi everyone! Based on the poll, it looks like multimodal transit adventure won in a landslide - here's an update on when that would be.

If it was the New York-based adventure involving a loop to New Jersey (Staten Island Ferry to St. George, Staten Island Railway to Eltingville, S89 bus to Bayonne, HBLR to Hoboken, ferry back to Manhattan?), I think the best time to do it based on my class schedule would be a Monday or Wednesday in the late afternoon/evening rush hour, exact date TBD (this routing has to be done at rush hour because of the S89 bus). Does that work for people?

Oooh, yeah, very good point!

Definitely recommend doing it on a Monday. Rush hour frequencies but most people with hybrid work schedules will WFH on Mondays

The S89 is a fun trip. Several adventures you try in Staten Island(fun borough to explore although I don't live in SI). You could take from the SIM26 Grand Central/Times Square to Conference Park House/Hylan Blvd(Southern tip of NYC/Staten Island) walk along the water/beach to Mount Loretto Scenic Unique area take the S59 to the transit then hop the S89 or could skip the walk and the S59 from Conference Park House Blvd to the S89. From ettingville Transit center you could take the S79 select bus-to 86th and 4th ave in Brooklyn or the express bus back to Manhattan. If taking the S79 "Maybe" stop along the way in South Beach/Midland Beach/Great Kills Beach/Wolf Alice Beach although its a somewhat long walk from the bus stop especially Great Kills Beach. You try combining a walk along the Goethels and Bayonne Bridge take the 115 NJ transit from port authority to Bayway in Elizabeth walk over the Goethels Bridge take the S40 to Morningstar Rd then walk to Innis St and walkover the Bayonne Bridge. The S53 Bus from Bay Ridge, Brooklyn to Cloves Lake Park then taking the S48 from Forest avenue is also a fun trip & taking the ferry SI taking a short bus ride to Silver Lake Park(several buses go there) or visiting Snug Harbor via S40 bus.
