I'm pretty sure someone requested I put this out, so this one's for that person!
Thank you!

The app is literally called "Transit." For iOS and Android. Also, "Citymapper" is a good app too.

What app do you use to track transit modes? I just use google maps and sometimes it doesn't have smaller, or more obscure transit agencies.

I rode an airside one as well prior! Not sure which one that would've been.

You were on the Landside one. Concourses D and E are served exclusively by American (and possibly some One World alliance partners).

In fairness I actually did the ride back in May.

Really! And I still can't even remember which one I did...I came in on JetBlue if that's a clue!

The first time I rode Tri-Rail I took it from Ft Lauderdale Airport to the north end of the line and back to kill time during a flight delay. It was raining and it seemed to be where a lot of people were just "sheltering." Someone sitting across from me didn't have a ticket (fare enforcement was walking around) and then attempted to buy one and seriously tied up the person for 15 minutes with double talk and here's this card and let me try my app and let me see what cash I have. Well finally they were told they were getting a citation and then had no ID. So they were told "off the train" and their response was "Great, this is where I was going to anyway"

That shuttle certainly seems like a waste of money if there's an existing rapid transit connection already... At least you've ridden it!

Technically, there are 3 people movers at MIA. Landside between the ground transportation center and terminal, Airside along the length of the D concourse and Airside to/from the satellite E gates.
