You sleep each night in a very nice hotel. It's spendy, but a fantastic experience. Denis and his wife should give it a try. It is A++. Do recommend.

Watching the video at first I thought "what's the point" but once you were on the train your enthusiasm for what you found was infectious.

2026-01-09 13:57:59 +0000 UTCI've taken the Canadian from Edmonton to Toronto and back, and then Edmonton to Vancouver and back, so I guess I've technically done the whole length haha. I could only afford economy and it was at times a struggle (I did not sleep well and the dome car was always packed) but it's one of my fondest memories. I love that train so much and being able to see our beautiful country in that slow, deliberate way. Loved this video!
