I always liked the Glameow evolutionary line. Cute young cat evolves into ugly old cat. It's fun to me.
Parents oughta put some pressure on their spawn to deliver more spawns. It's the cycle of life. And it gets lonely without kids being ah uge nuissance around. Also, grandparents have it easier. They get to enjoy the kids for the perfect amount of time, and all the anoying stuff, well, the parents will take care of that.

For all we know this is a setting where Kukui and Burnett are more like their game selves when it comes to marriage than the anime. The exact timeline of the AU is to be pondered. At least in my mind Dawn is probably not ''that'' late compared to Lillie. Lusamine's just as likely to Lusamine at a few weeks as a few months.
