I'm a bit late on this but I want to defend Honey. Not to say that what she said was appropriate BUT it's important to remember the context of her personal life and she is still grieving. I lost my father earlier this year and there have been times when I have felt out of control and acted in ways I never would normally. I could barely function for weeks after it happened so I can't imagine having to put on a performance on national tv. And then to already be feeling bad and then to be disappointed in your own performance? What I saw when Honey was talking was a young person struggling to control her emotions during an incredibly difficult time and I think Honey should be given some grace here.

Everyone remembers things differently, but I remember in Season One, there was more attention paid to Justin Guarini (he had the Broadway kid / Boy Band Pop Star thing going) and Tamara Gray. Mostly because I liked Kelly Clarkson and she was the underdog, and I didn’t like how it seemed she was being dismissed as not having “star power” like Justin or Tamyra. I looked up an old quote from a Billboard Magazine article: “While all 10 had demonstrated talent and personality, the producers were certain they knew who the top two would be: Justin Guarini and Tamyra Gray. ‘We all said right from the beginning -- those two. I just read an interview with Leiomy and she was hopping on the RuPaul pile on and dragging RPDR and saying it was bad for Ball Room and complaining about drag queens stealing stuff from the ball room scene. As someone who played sports growing up, I 100% agree that Honey's comments deserved to affect the entire team's score. In basically every team sport I can think of, if one of your players is acting up, your whole team gets penalized. It's one of the ways to get teams to hold their people accountable. Really enjoyed this Watchery. You’ll need to do something with Mother Eyricka . I agree, I wanted to see Shannon vs. Stasha in a face off. Also, Stasha reason for sending Egypt to battle was very WTF?! I also love hearing how strategic Mother Eyricka was for Season 1 when picking her team. I also agree the guest judges should be people in Ballroom or the tie breaker needs to be Dashaun.
