Garment reference: Aimon ALEXA NAVY SAILOR COLLAR JACKET DRESS

Bodice and sleeve: Bunka style sloper for adult women.
Collar: Aldrich sailor collar.
Fabric: Woven. I use cotton poplin.
Not shown in recording: Front patch pocket (very simple - nothing special to show).
Comment:
- If I am to redo this, I will add more ease to hip. Clo female avatar has wider hip than bust.
- I you want a more tailored/shapely bodice, add waist dart along the front and back princess line. I don't do this because I like a more boxy look this time.
- To imitate the placket, I just add topstitch texture. You can add more realism by properly fold and sew the placket. In general, I try to avoid extra layer or fold.
- Dress is my least favorite type of garment to do, but this one I like.
Super technical note:
- Bunka sloper does not 'true' the back shoulder dart, but I do it anyway. Protip you can use seamly/valentina to correctly gauge the amount you need in order to true any dart.
- I don't know whether the princess style lines end at armhole or shoulder because the huge collar is covering it in the picture, but I choose the armhole. You can definitely make the process simpler if you end the style line at the shoulder - the end result will look the same anyway, unless if you lift the collar.
- I tried to use Bunka instruction to do the princess style but I didn't fully understand it. I ended up making my own way instead.
