Vstitcher/Browzwear

I'm glad that Clo/MD exist, but hate that it is the only good program to make 3D garment for individual creator. I'm wish that I can use blender to make good 3D garment but it is not possible at the moment.

Vstitcher from Browzwear is another viable alternative, but only if you manage to obtain the license. I was granted indie license last year. I cannot comment much about the program because I'm not using it much. But it seem to have to have fewer features than Clo/MD. But there are more choice of free fabrics and trims. The license is free, but I have no idea how long it will last.

The process to join the indie program is very easy. You just need fill few detail and link your portfolio at Indie Program Application (browzwear.com) then wait a week for email containing download link and login info. But I don't know whether they will approve everyone, or some criteria need to be met.

I'm planning to start making few basic garments using it again, exclusive for patron. I'll will also experiment on it capability to make more complex garment, especially involving numerous layering. Clo is still my main program but I like to expand my arsenal a bit. These are only tools that keep changing, but the fundamental of patternmaking is everlasting. If your fundamental is good you will be able to make good garment with any suitable program.

Anyway, this is a post to let your all know that I'm not slacking off. There are a lot of R&D behind the scene.
