BTS update
Added 2024-09-17 07:28:41 +0000 UTCJust to let you guys know that even though I have not posted for a long time, I'm not slacking off.
I've been busy researching how to sew the parka. This is my biggest sewing project yet. It was so difficult because the linings make things complicated. There's also not much resources online.
But I'm determined to finish this because I like outerwear so much, even though I live in a tropical country. It is only natural that we yearn for thing we can't have.
I already finish figuring out the pattern and seam allowance. It is a very basic prototype that I will sew with toile fabric. Nothing fancy like filler etc but this time I include the side vent so that I can learn something new.
But I will not start sewing yet because I'm waiting for the installation of air conditioning unit within a few days. I always detest wasting electricity on aircond but the heat is so unbearable nowadays. In the meantime, I already start researching for the next garment, which is a shearling jacket.
