Toile: Edwardian Dress
Added 2024-12-27 04:00:07 +0000 UTCAs a novice sewer, this turns out better than I expected. This time I learn my lesson and add more ease to the skirt waist (4 cm compared to 1.2 cm that I use in Clo model) because I already anticipated that it will be tight there.
I usually use Seamly2D to make my sewing pattern, but it is almost impossible for contoured dress like this one. Making sewing pattern in Clo is easy if you want to print but not easy if you want to use projector like me. It does not export SVG which I use to make the projection file. It does export DXF and PDF which do retain the correct measurement, but they are too big Inkscape to handle. Maybe Adobe Illustrator can handle it better.
