Reference garment: RVD Sportism Racing Jacket

Instruction based on Onishenko et al "Basic Jacket Sloper" (p160). A different approach this time whereby they give a fixed value for S, M and L size so need to take body measurement. The M size is generally for male avatar with chest circumference 94 cm to 109 cm.

This block as it is, is actually a bit too fitting for the reference garment, so I modified it afterward for the oversized look (more chest and armhole ease). You may be tempted to use the L size but remember that there is a different between oversize and large size, mainly that in oversize garment the neck and wrist opening stay fitting.

Alternatively, you can use the Aldrich flat overgament block that I made previously because that block is already quite oversized. There is even more loose-fitting version of the block in the book.

This block is simple so you don't need to follow my video if you can read schematic diagram. Below is the diagram for M size. S and L size values are also provided. You can obtain the full scale SVG here.

Patrons can watch the full unedited recording of the detailing process here. The most difficult detail is actually the concealed zipper, which I included in the drafting video as a bonus for all.
