The main modification is to construct a concealed zipper. I also show how I detail the hood opening edge without folding the fabric. Basically by offsetting some internal lines and manipulating the fold angle. The rest is routine like changing fabric, seam type, topstitch, puckering and trims.
In the end, the final result look just a like knit hoodie. If you want to make this solely for render purposes I suggest to add linings (layer clone under) for the bodice and sleeve. You can also use Clo fill tool because the actual jacket have padding/quilting inside. This helps add more volume so that the jacket looks more puffy like the reference garment.
I actually make the Style3D version first that is why you see me speeding making this in Clo. I like the Style3D version a lot more because the Style3D avatar has more underarm space so the sleeve always come out nicer. But that is just my preference.
Only after I uploaded everything that I realized I should have made adjustment to the color to better match the reference. The waistband, cuff and the inside of the hood should be darker. The zipper should be brass color. Mistake like this happens so many times. So, my new plan is to sit on the finished project a day or two before exporting.
