Toile: Leather Biker Jacket
Added 2025-07-21 07:14:55 +0000 UTCI'm way behind schedule with this one, almost a month since the last post. But I go all out this time. I sew all the pockets and zippers.
Obviously, I did not use leather. The pattern is for woven fabric. From the videos I saw on YouTube, leather garment uses a lot of glue, so the cutting and seam allowance should be different.
Very difficult to sew especially the zipper cuff with gusset. I have no idea how to sew it properly, so the finishing is very rough.
Overall, I'm satisfied. The fit is perfect. The armhole is a bit tight but that is part of the design to make it look good on lanky person.
All the files attached. Take note that the lining is just a clone of the outer shell. For production, the lining should be a slightly bigger than the shell.
