last saul series
Added 2025-04-13 21:24:49 +0000 UTCIn this last installation of my Saul Leiter inspired roll of film, we have Carter and I canoodling (fun word) on the one hand and Carter in bed on the other. The one I chose as my favorite of the first part was the second in this series. I actually would have chosen the first one had the framing been a bit better, because I love the detail of my finger on his face, but since that frame was a cheat frame (the roll finished right before finishing winding the last frame, so I held in the rewind button and finished winding the little bit that was left and took the shot), and I failed to adjust the frame to accommodate the lost space, it ended up an awkward frame. My other favorite of the series was the one where Carter is bent forward with his elbows up in the air. I mean. Such interest in that frame. In my opinion at least.
This was such a wonderful process! I can’t wait to start the next inspiration roll, I’m gonna put up a new poll in a few moments to decide on the photographer.
