Finally we've gotten to the part of this project that everyone's been waiting for: Bart the Hero. For some reason, this short, that lasts just over a minute, introduces more characters than any other, except for Good Night.
And they're all NOBODIES.
Take this chump for example. Mr Chupo owns a candy store that Bart frequents. Perhaps he was intended to be recurring, there are a handful of small business owners that appear early in the series that were possibly intended for greater things. But sadly, following this appearance, Mr Chupo was never seen again. God speed, Mr Chupo, we hardly knew ye.
It's worth noting that Klasky Csupo was the animation company that produced The Simpsons early on, until they were replaced by Film Roman in season 4. Chupo is how Csupo is pronounced, so this is probably an early easter egg.
This is the most anyone has ever talked about Mr Chupo, ever.
