The Tracey Ullman shorts - round up!

So here we are! The first major milestone, every character from the Tracey Ullman shorts has been drawn. Here they all are together.

That‘s 20 characters so far, 20 total. I also did two ‘bonus’ character, but they aren’t part of the official count so they’re not included here.

What did we learn along the way? I’d say about half of these characters are “recognisable” and that’s only because half of THEM are the main family. Everyone else is basically set dressing, Springfield has yet to find any identity beyond the Simpsons themselves. But oddly we got to know Jake the Barber before many more familiar and lovable names.
