0143 - Angry Man
Added 2022-10-14 08:00:03 +0000 UTCThis guy appears just after the last entry, and although the lip sync is a bit more sketchy for him, I am still giving him pride of place in the hallowed halls of this stupid project:
I think these two are noteworthy because while this is the show's first big angry mob (first of many), it is already filled with familiar faces with speaking roles. Burns, Krusty, Barney, Skinner, Dr Monroe, Otto and Krabappel, some of whom have not shown up since their first appearance, pipe up from the crowd ready to kill Bart. Even Patty, Selma and Abe are all visible, despite the fact that it's their nephew/grandson on trial here.
There's even this friendly looking chap, he looks really nice and sweet, I hope we get to meet him properly someday*:
Anyway, the two angry men seemed significant because they are not part of Springfield's fabric, and never will be. And by now you should realise they're my favourites to cover, because that is absurd.
* yes, I know Bob is introduced by name in this episode, but he doesn't speak yet. He's a neat little tease of something to come later this season.
