0207 - Chairman
Added 2023-04-01 08:00:03 +0000 UTCThis is the last “major” human character we’ll encounter in this episode until the big party at the end of the episode - obviously Buzzsaw the guard dog and a small can opener get some lines in between, and we’ll get to them in due time.
This is the chairman at the Loyal Order of Dinosaurs, and Fred address him as such. It still appears to be a proto-version of the Order of Water Buffaloes, hopefully we’ll see that change soon. It’s so strange that we’re eleven episodes in and have yet to see the iconic Water Buffalo hats. Fred and Barney aren’t even going for the position of ”Grand Poobah” here!
The chairman himself has very little of note going for him. He unceremoniously disappears when Barney takes the podium to accept the presidency. As with Mr Slate, I am forced to question how his glasses prescription works in prehistoric times, but I guess after a year and a half of covering this show, we should really learn to let these things slide. Rockslide? No, just slide.
