Bart Gets An F - round up!
Added 2023-09-08 08:00:01 +0000 UTCI've enjoyed doing this project the whole time, but this episode is the most I've enjoyed it in a while! I'm invigorated to see where season two takes us. A couple of notes about this group of weirdos: yes, I've messed with Gorilla the Conqueror's scale so he'd fit in here. And yes, this is the most black and white characters we've covered. And also, yes, oddly, this is the most politicians we've ever covered.
The star of the group is hotly contested. Quimby is obviously the most important character here in the context of The Simpsons...but this is the first time we're covering actual real life figures. Can I really say that Mayor Quimby is more important Thomas Jefferson or Benjamin Franklin? Yes, yes I can, and I will.
Starting out season two with a disappointing NCHC of 0%. Get it together, season 2.
We've met 13 new characters in this episode (we're counting the mothballs as one), bringing the total up to 254.
