0311 - Man In Crowd
Added 2024-03-04 09:00:02 +0000 UTCWe come to a point in the episode where a bunch of people in a crowd get to have odd little remarks that qualify them for this project. Cherish these moments while you can, because eventually these crowds will be populated by familiar characters such as Comic Book Guy or Sideshow Mel, and there will be no room for these strangers to shine any more.
This guy yawns, in a shot that looks like it's out of a Sunday newspaper strip:
and a few seconds later comments on Homer's "cornball antics":
It's difficult to say for certain, but I think the yawn is performed by Dan Castellaneta, and the line by Hank Azaria. A character with two voice actors! He must be important.
We'll never see him again.
