I don't really enjoy drawing Itchy and Scratchy, for some reason, I never feel like I get them "right". But nevertheless, my compulsive dedication requires me to document their alternate appearances in the two shorts shown at the start of this episode.

The real star of today's post is Janey's mother. Dearest reader, I am not exaggerating when I tell you I gasped when she appears on screen.
This kind of obscure minutia is what we are here for. Did you know Janey even HAD a mum? I didn't. I peeped ahead to see if she appears again, and the answer is: sort of!

This longer haired design (as seen in "Lisa the Beauty Queen", "Itchy & Scratchy: The Movie", "Kamp Krustier" and "Todd, Todd, Why Hast Thou Forsaken Me?") seems to be accepted as the 'canon' design for Janey's mum, so we have three options for the lady seen in Janey's living room:
She is the same person as the long-haired lady, she grew her hair out later.
She is NOT Janey's mum, and the longer haired lady is. This lady is like an aunt or a burglar or something.
She IS Janey's mum, and the longer haired lady is perhaps a stepmother or something.
You can mull this over for the rest of the day.
Lastly, we have Roger Myers's's secretary (who he refers to as "Ms White"):
She has a wacky kooky design that stuck out to me, although that weird award on his desk might stick out to me more.
