Similar to Gene Siskel, Roger Ebert had no direct crossover with The Simpsons after being parodied in this episode, despite living until 2013. The only additional mentions of him are this somewhat mean-spirited joke from season 5's "The Last Temptation of Homer":

But what did Ebert think of The Simpsons? He actually reviewed the aptly titled "The Simpsons Movie" in 2007, and it can be read here. He appears to have found the film somewhat amusing, if average, but had some respect for the show itself. I think it would be difficult to be a critic in the media and not at least acknowledge the cultural importance of The Simpsons.
This respect was not one-sided, and I came across some kind words from Al Jean about working with Siskel and Ebert on The Critic.
