BONUS! Abe

I tried to figure out how consistent this design is, but most of his other flashback appearances are from before Homer's teenage years:

or later, when Homer is an adult and Abe is starting to feel grandfatherly:
("Lisa's First Word")
The hairstyle is more established in the second picture, it's like a perfect cross between the "The Way We Was" design and the current day design, like the second evolution of a Pokémon. I'll try and keep track of other Abe designs throughout the years to see if they "match".

I can't believe I forgot to compare him to the Homerpalooza scene, one of the most memed scenes!

2024-10-02 08:16:15 +0000 UTCA good comparison would be the flashback in Homerpalooza where Abe ominously warns Homer and Barney that he used to be 'with it' but then they changed what 'it' was, and it seems weird and scary to him. Your picture looks exactly like Abe there, and Homer is approx 17 in that flashback so makes sense!
