We're gonna cross some 't's and dot some 'i's today, really fill in some of the blanks on some obscure Springfieldians.
First up is this guy in the grocery store, a witness to Marge's terrible grape theft.
He is not especially noteworthy by himself, but I found him more interesting when the camera pulled out.

A few years ago I would have paid no mind to this group, but now I recognise them all as Howard's mother, Bill Dandy, and mother (and baby)! The guy at the bottom is an off model Skinner, and I'[m not sure if I've mentioned him before but he comes up a couple of times.

None of this is useful information, but I certainly look at a shot like this differently now I've spent more time with all of these individuals. I love them like my own children.
A scene in Moe's provides us with one (1) new drunkard to cover:

Larry and Sam can be seen in this scene, but Sam still has yet to speak on screen! I am starting to feel sorry for him.
Lastly, some more familiar faces buried among some obscure ones.

There are a few I could have picked out here, but big-glasses kid at the front seemed like he'd be the most fun to draw. Aside from the super obvious cameos here we can see Spy, Howard and possibly this kid. The kid next to Spy* looks familiar, but I don't think we've covered him specifically yet. He might be a combination of a couple of other designs.
Sometimes this project is a fresh discovery, uncovering new factoids about this show, and sometimes it's revisiting old friends. We'll probably lose some of these familiar background designs as we go on, but it's nice to see them pop up occasionally for now.
*not Wendell. I hope you all trust me enough to know I know who Wendell is at this point.
