Added 2025-03-17 09:00:02 +0000 UTCWe're still in Herb's boardroom for a bit, and today our eye focuses on the fella on the right, who blames the company's recent shortcomings on "mushy-headed one-worlders in Washington."
We know that he went to Harvard, and that his roots extend to when the Anglos met the Saxons (hey! That's more origin than we get for most of these guys!) He also seen in a scene later where he tells Homer later in the episode that their cars don't have pep.
The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines "pep" as "brisk energy or initiative and high spirits" and while I get what Homer means (car go vroom VROOM!), it seems like an unusual word choice to me. It sounds like he wants to drive Putt-Putt or something.
