March Wrap Up

Dear Patrons,

Spring is here, Summer is apporaching fast!

Again, I had the wonderful opportunity to collaborate with Stained Karbon Maps to work on the Fan-Finned Fern Fish – but this time, there are even more creators on board: aripockily, Edwin Loup, Rudok‘s Tavern & Sol‘Kesh! More fish and maps are coming soon – so, buckle up for some bonus content this month♥

Also, we had two huge monsters – the Stomp Stump and the Book Wyrm. The later was commissioned and I was more than happy to be able to share it with you! I hope it brought and will bring much joy to your ancient-library-delving adventures!

Huge Monster

Book Wyrm – Huge monstrosity, neutral

There are tales of book wurms growing to such an impressive size that no well-stocked library is sufficiently large and no long-forgotten archive secret enough to be able to hide it. Yet, they remain unseen. Buried under countless tomes and covered by a myriad of scrolls, the book wyrm slumbers.

Stomp Stump – Huge plant, lawful neutral

Cherished since the dawn of time, the mighty stomp stump stands firm. It isn’t unusual that this imposing remnant of a much larger plant is the centerpiece of worship and praise. Its bark is covered in symbols from the many cults it has outlived and outlasted over centuries after centuries.

Monsters

Awakened Vulpecula – Tiny celestial, any alignment

Every now and then, a vulpecula is freed from its yearslong slumber – not to fall asleep again but once and for all. Struck by a sudden rush of unrest, it sheds the magic that kept it tucked and with it the golden-blue fur that warmed its soul. An awakened vulpecula is imbued by curiosity and uncertainty alike.

Fan-Finned Fern Fish – Tiny beast, unaligned

The fan-finned fernfish can be found in a doubtlessly unexpected place. Contrary to most water-dwellers, this peculiar creature neither swims nor crawls its way through ground-leveled lakes or such. Instead, it has its home high up in the trees where it not only bathes in ponds shaped by branches and rain but also in the sun that would otherwise be swallowed by leaves.

Stille – Medium fey, neutral

There are creatures roaming these worlds that are far too eldritch to be described by the words of mortals. Beings forged from realms known to no one and tossed into this reality by circumstances beyond understanding. One of such is the stille. Freed from fear of death and unbound by the urge to survive, it walks a path others cannot follow.

Thumbstall Engineer – Tiny humanoid, lawful good

The thumbstall engineer is the backbone of each expedition into uncharted lands and the driving force of every operation to repel the foes of the queen. Blessed with the same sturdiness and determination, it marches alongside its kin to tackle any obstacle of mechanical, structural or technical nature.

Is it a trap to lure one in? Or a gift to call for aid? Brewed from the fragments of a stille’s amber-like flesh, this potion is as mysterious as the creature it origins from…
