Tin Turncoat – Tiny construct, unaligned

The tin turncoat, despite looking like a pathetic toy, is a marvel of machinery. Once wound, it will function for a full day. It marches about and utters nonsensical jokes with its scratchy metallic voice box. It seemingly believes itself to be a defector from a “GREAT AND GRAND ARMY TO THE WEST.” While no one believes that the tin turncoat is actually conscious, it demonstrates a surprising degree of sarcastic self-awareness, simulated or otherwise.

I'm more than happy to release a wonderful collaboration for the first post of July! Once again, I had the honor to work with Borough Bound – creators of fully realized RPG cities and settlements – to contribute a quirky automaton to their newest setting: Pelgrut Hideaway.

Pelgrut Hideaway is a modular bandit camp that you can drag and drop into any campaign setting. Borough Bound has created a huge map encompassing the entire camp, a thorough system-agnostic setting guide that provides flavor, lore, and mechanics for using the camp in your campaigns, and wonderful music tracks to help you score the setting. The content of this collaboration is only the first half of the setting. They'll be releasing the rest of the map, music, and setting guide—as well as bonus content, VTT modules, and NPC tokens—over the next few months. The release also comes with the Royal Bank Vault map by the wonderful 2-Minute Tabletop! The best part: they also provided a massive collection of assets to decorate any map!
