I've had the wonderful pleasure to paint a sword for Jhamkul's Forge 's Swordtember Challenge! Be sure to head over to find their whole collection!

Broad-bladed and flat-tipped, its surface gleaming like dull gold, the looks more ceremonial than battle-ready. Its crossguard curves outward into two watchful eyes above a small row of sharp, uneven teeth. The hilt is bound in worn leather, darkened with age, as if the weapon has been waiting a very long time to be held. When carried, the eyes seem to follow motion with quiet intensity, and the teeth click faintly, as though the weapon is eager to speak. Created by the lonely archmage Thalor Astwin in an attempt to craft a companion, the sword gained a sliver of sentience and now clings to its wielder with the stubborn pride of a neglected child, demanding approval through battle and sulking when ignored.
