We have come a long long way, Thank you so much. I have had to take a few, or a bunch of steps back but it has all been worth it. Honey is now 4, she is a Golden Chow mix. She loves people, when she sees anyone she is so distracted. Thinks everyone wants to pet her. Her back end goes totally around like she has 4 front feet. I back up and in some cases can get her to set. But if the person does not stop she will jump at them with excitment almost pulling me over. She is 50 pounds and I am 70 years young. HELP Truly Charity

I would love to know how to introduce backyard chickens to my dog and generally how to keep her calm around other animals. She's getting gradually better at listening around other dogs but definitely not quite there and when we've encountered wildlife on bushwalks she just goes beserk. If we manage to get her to sit and stay she watches the animal intensely and squeals with excitement despite all our efforts to distract or calm her. We are working on proofing with distractions but it's impossible to manufacture anything as interesting to her!
