Exclusive Preview: Shoreline Tribal Map

We are excited to unveil a special variant for our July content: Shoreline Tribal. This map is a captivating addition to our beach, ocean, and shoreline theme, perfect for those summer vibes! 
The base map, Shoreline, was inspired by the lush and vibrant jungle shorelines reminiscent of Mayan and Aztec beaches. When creating the Shoreline Tribal variant, we drew inspiration from rainforests and ancient civilizations. The process began with constructing the rough terrain, followed by adding trees, water details, and finally, the lighting. We applied self-made rules for vegetation placement to enhance realism and feasibility.
Important Features of the Map
The Shoreline Tribal map is rich with distinctive features:
Sacrificial Area: Located in the center, this ominous spot is connected to the Tribal Head's house via a bridge.
Tribal Huts: Each hut has a unique layout and purpose, from the herbalist's hut to the hunter's and fisher's huts, creating a cohesive village atmosphere.
Lookout Cliffs: Two cliffs frame the shore, offering strategic vantage points for the tribe.
Using the Map in TTRPG Sessions
The Shoreline Tribal map offers versatile usage scenarios:
Exploration or Battle Encounter: The tribe's practice of human sacrifice suggests potential hostility, but peaceful trade interactions are also possible.
Dynamic Entry Points: Players can approach from the shore/water on the right or through the jungle on the left. Multiple paths from the beach to the land and vice versa enhance strategic movement.
Escape or Infiltration: Players might need to escape the village using the tribe's canoes, or they could find themselves stranded and needing to navigate deeper into the jungle.
Lore Oneshot: The Tribe of Eztli
In the heart of the dense rainforest, hidden from the prying eyes of outsiders, lies the village of the Eztli Tribe. Led by the venerable Chief Ichtaya, the Eztli have thrived for generations, drawing their strength from the spirits of the land and the sea.
The central sacrificial area, is where the Eztli commune with their gods. Here, offerings of both blood and bounty are made to ensure the tribe’s prosperity. The bridge leading to Chief Ichtaya's house symbolizes the connection between the mortal realm and the divine.
Each hut within the village serves a vital purpose: the herbalist brews potent remedies and poisons, the hunters and fishers provide sustenance, and the spiritual guides interpret the will of the gods. The cliffs, standing tall on either side of the shore, serve as both guardians and sentinels, watching over the Eztli’s domain.
Adventurers approaching the village may find themselves welcomed as honored guests or captured as sacrificial offerings. Those who earn the tribe’s trust might uncover secrets of ancient wisdom and powerful artifacts hidden within the jungle. The Eztli’s canoes, sleek and swift, offer a means of escape or further exploration, depending on the adventurers' choices and fates.
