Welcome dear Traveller to the majestic jewel of the Summer Lands, Tausām!
Home to 250 thousand strong, this burgeoning metropolis has many awe-inspiring structures such as the temple of Edexis, God of Wisdom and Learning, the massive colosseum known as the Eye of Akesi and the Many Flowered Ziggurat of the Mages. Nearby, the marbled plazas and golden domes of the Atenius palace are surrounded by serene gardens filled with the crooning of song birds. The mighty Zigur River is filled with the pleasure barges of the rich and the fishing boats of the poor. Beyond the reeds of the river is the less than pleasant beating heart of Tausām, the slums known as the Undercity. The nobles and the poor admix in the Pleasure Quarters as well as the thespian filled Stage regions of the city. The normal folk live in the North City which stretches out towards the farms, the general docks where the Harbormaster keeps a watchful eye and the incessantly active bazaars of Merchant's Row.
No matter where you go, Tausām has much that will captivate a visitor, bedazzle an onlooker and charm even the most obtuse of individuals!
