Sucking in the weight (extra 2)

Throughout the year, Ryan was too busy with work to be concentrated on Luna. Being an architect that also must help with heavy lifting because of short staff didn’t really allow his mind to be well rested for several months. She was worried that overwork could burn his health badly, but he always said that there was no unsolvable problem if one had the right mindset. She wondered if having the mindset of overworking yourself was the right one. 

This is why she was usually bored whenever she had to be at home. Her job required her to be there only three days a week, and having no kids and few hobbies made for an excruciating waiting time until he came back. Of course, she had household chores, but they weren't really enterteining either. Luna was the type of woman to be obsessed with her man to the point of being too needy, which made for an interesting relationship where Ryan had to over pamper her so that she didn’t get mad. Sometimes she was a little annoying, and while she was aware of it, even Ryan told her off from time to time. 

But something had changed in her recently, and it wasn’t necessarily her neediness dying down. In fact, she was now more needy than ever (although regarding food). She wasn’t very happy about her appetite spike as she was hungry pretty much all the time recently, having eaten ice-cream twice in a day several times, which didn’t happen at all before she came back from their last vacation. 

Although, saying that she stopped doing it is a stretched affirmation because it’s impossible to fix something you have been doing naturally all your life in just a couple of months. Luna found harder than ever to suck in her stomach when she went out to eat with friends, and it was showing on her potbelly. However, when she looked at herself in the mirror, she didn’t feel bad about it because Ryan always showed interest in her body regardless of how much of a pig she was becoming. 

It was a real problem. It meant that she didn’t have any self-control for the food she enjoyed, and having Ryan reassure her how beautiful and sexy she was didn’t help with her wanting to keep losing weight or her stuffed belly sucked in. 

Just what was she going to do from now on, she wondered. What would happen if she lost her beauty and societies standards began placing eyes on her fat body? For now, she didn’t want to know.
