SWADE Item Tables Defaults?
Added 2024-01-08 16:01:53 +0000 UTCImagine (or test) opening a newly created World in Foundry VTT. You open SWADE Item Tables and note that it's empty because no items have been included. You go to configure which Items to include and all of the sources are expanded and unchecked. Is this preferred or would you prefer a different default configuration?

So far All Items Included and Sources Expanded has the lead. This makes sense is it's easier to skim the collections and remove Items you don't want. I've got a develop branch where it automatically adds all Items. It also sets a hidden world setting that marks the world as initialized. If the world already has some Items included in the list, it will set that to true without changing anything; this will preserve any current configuration. If nothing is set to be included in the list and the initialization value is set to false (i.e., a fresh world), it'll add everything and set the initialization value to true.

2024-01-15 18:05:55 +0000 UTCThe idea of a "quick remove" button in the Item Tables is interesting. I've had times when I spotted something I accidentally left in and needed to remove it. Usually, I just open the configuration, go to the respective tab, and use the search filter without issue. If I do implement a quick remove option, I'd need to think carefully about how to implement that. I intentionally want to keep the tables looking clean, and adding categories has already crowded it by a good amount. Adding another column for deleting items, might be too much. With respect to the indicator for right-clicking, there's an explanation of this at the top of each tab. I guess that's less obvious than I thought it would be. Centering the text helps it stand out more. I'll add that in the next release. 🤔

2024-01-11 15:11:39 +0000 UTCWould it be doable to allow user with DM settings to remove items allowed from the Item Tables window instead of settings window? When you open list of items from settings window, when you go through the list of items you get three columns- name, source and category. In new settings where you aren't that familiar with all the gear this requires to right click the item, and check each one specifically. In the item tables window you get much more details about item- with almost all statistics and notes for weapons. This is another low priority, nice to have idea I've got, but I thought it could be worth to check what do you think anyway. As a side note, when I started typing this comment I was under impression that when you open settings to adjust allowed content, you cannot open items from that window- it turns out that right click lets you do this. However this is very unintuitive- when you hover over name of object, checkbox is highlighted, and nothing indicates that you can right click to see the object. Maybe when you hover name, highlight name, and when you hover over checkbox highlight checkbox? To indicate that name is interactable as well?
