2022-02-16 17:58:22 +0000 UTCmy best guess is that saiya has assumed tessa was after her for some reason related to her persona. maybe even just, she needs everybody to worship her. but seeing tessa in a more humanized way leads saiya to consider that tessa may like her for more genuine reasons. which could be sweet or flattering rather than just a power thing.

2022-02-16 17:43:12 +0000 UTCthis is definitely going to reconfigure the trajectory of the story! saiya was all set to confess her love to aika, but she just learned something that makes tessa much more sympathetic and interesting, and i’m guessing that aika is about to do something to disrupt saiya’s intentions with her as well. i love this scene — stacy’s gloating, and seeing the gears turn in saiya’s head.

With how organized and economics-savvy Saiya is, I bet she would make a great new manager for Tessa who doesn't try to totally control her life (or her weight). Assuming Tessa even wants to stay in the streaming life, that is. Poor thing has never had a real friend before, no wonder she got so fixated on Saiya after their little heart to heart ;_;
