I got a wheelchair and what my dogs think about it:
Added 2025-03-22 19:38:10 +0000 UTCA few weeks ago we decided that I need a wheelchair to help me to be able to get out of bed and start living my life. Yes, I have a DNA test out looking into 15,000 diseases. Yes, I am looking for a doctor to help. (I don’t want to get swept up in the medical hamster wheel, so finding a good doctor is top priority.) Yes, I am working on my health and nutrition in the meantime. But we made this move so I wouldn’t be trapped in my bed. I am so glad that we did. Because we got it I was able to enjoy an outing with my family at a tulip festival. Yes, it was inconvenient, but it was better than the alternative.
Hannah and Clover have been doing great with it. I was worried that they would be freaked out by this new freaky thing, but nope! They are fine with it. I am so glad that they are. Many dogs aren’t. We are still having to them how to move around it and how it moves, but they are getting it slowly.
