Coming in January and My 2022 Aspirations

Heya! Thank you first to all of you for supporting me, whether it is one month or for years! I see your names all the time even if we don't talk much and I appreciate all of you. Feel free to ask me questions in comments. I definitely prefer to answer comments as opposed to DMs unless they are personal questions or something related to a commission.

On the Patreon news front, I have been really swamped with commissions the past couple months and I am going to take January to assess whether I need to cut back on commissions or modify the commission options. If I can handle things this month better without the holidays then it will be full speed ahead. Otherwise, I will put some options to you fine folks in a poll and give you plenty of warning before I make any changes to my commission tiers.

Whew! That's out of the way! Let's talk about the fun stuff!!

January

For January I plan to release a new Wasteland Bombshell with a cover by Starli and some additional art by Stoper. No art available yet to show you, but if you enjoyed Snarl or Tlaloc in book 2 you are going to be getting a lot more of both.

I plan to release the next book in the My Cheating Elf Girlfriend (Wife) series:

I plan to release a collection for My Cheating Elf Girlfriend that includes everything up to the Halloween book that ended the arc for the series as well as some bonus "bad ends" for Faylana and Caldric's relationship like I did with the first book in the series.

I will also be releasing a Patreon exclusive in January. This will be volume 2 of the Big Book of Bad Ends featuring a huntress named Zoey meeting six different bad ends with monsters. This will be available to all patrons as a PDF.

That's it for releases, but I will also be working on other stuff in January.

2022 Projects

A lot of fun stuff to talk about here. I'm going to rate these projects from * to **** starts next to their name to show the level of activity/probability of release in 2022. Something that gets a * might be something that is simmering and I want to work on definitely but have no plans. ** could be something I am working on here and there but don't have it on the schedule. *** would be something I am pursuing but not at full steam. Ongoing series that I mention will automatically get **** to show I am actively working and scheduling releases in that series. So we'll start with the obvious stuff.

My Cheating Elf Wife ****

I have just started the arc for the new series and have planned five books with a possible 6 to 10 total in the arc. This will probably be the final arc for the series, but does not necessarily mean it will be the last you see of the characters.

Wasteland Bombshell ****

I'm loving this series and although I have a loose arc planned for the story and characters the series could stretch anywhere from 10 to 20 total books. Unlike some series, I don't want to release multiple collections and will wait until the whole series finishes to do one giant collection.

Sara Chambers ***

This is an ongoing series with a book in progress but it is a series that I am not prioritizing. Expect intermittent releases (maybe 3 books for the year) as I slowly try to wind this one up. I am enjoying it, I just have moved on to other stuff.

Untitled Modern Cosmic Horror CYOA **

This is a current project of keen interest for me. I am trying to decide on my limited time resources and I think I want to do a mid-range CYOA novel. Something bigger than a fertile in dungeon book with the potential of doing one or two a year in the series. It is currently between this one and the next item. NOTE: This cover has nothing to do with this project, it's from a long defunct project I was working on.

Enthralled CYOA **

I have mentioned this one before as a free-use dystopian CYOA. I have mapped out the entirety of book one of this and have completed the writing bible (sort of like a small encyclopedia I use to keep track of everything) so I am much closer to getting going on this one. However, I am currently a bit hotter for the cosmic horror story.

Gender Bender CYOA *

This is another option for my CYOA possibilities. This one isn't my usual topic, although I have obviously done plenty of this sort of stuff in my fiction. This would be a present day story about a guy who goes to college and immediately gets turned into a girl in a lab accident. Pretty lighthearted and silly compared to the other two.

Corruption of the Young Queen **

The long delayed mega cyoa. I almost rated this a *** but after many months of not working on this project I want to be honest where I am and try to set goals for making some small but measurable progress every month. For January I am going to try to write 5 hubs on the TWINE. That's about 5,000 words. It doesn't seem like a lot and it isn't. I estimate I have 400,000 words left on this project. Obviously that would be 7 years or so at that rate, but I'm hoping I could ramp up to 50,000 words a month if I am able to find the time. I just can't afford to easily do that at this point.

Undercover in the Naked City ***

This one began life as a Vella and Vella was not right for it or for me. I pulled it from Vella entirely and I intend to retool it a bit then write the rest of the book and release it as a lesbian noir romance novel. This is something I absolutely want to get done in 2022 so I'm bumping it to ***. I have written too much on this already for so little reward that I need to find a way to salvage my sunken cost. I think an erotic romance is the way to go.

My Wife is a Giantess **

I have been teasing this one for ages. I think where I am headed now is a trio of novellas and then a collection at novel length. I lost my cover artist but he did 3 covers in advance along with some promo art, so I would just need to find a collection cover artist. I have written about 10K words on book 1 and at some point in the next month or two I would like to dive back in and get book 1 finished. We'll see how my schedule permits.

Half-Damned Summoner **

I've teased this one a couple times. I've written the bible and outlined the first book. Haven't started writing it much yet though. I would probably rate this one as 1 1/2 stars actually just because I've gotten much hotter for the next item lately.

Happy Endings Dungeon **

This one is a loose concept I very much want to write. A dungeon master story where a guy inherits the most evil dungeon and turns it into something fun, more like a vacation spot. But I have been working on book 1 and I 'm not sure it is gelling exactly how I wanted. If I hadn't hit some snags writing this would be a *** and I would be talking about releasing book 1 in February. As it stands now, maybe March? I need to figure it out.

Precinct 666 *

This one is a high concept scifi/fantasy where a portal to hell opens and the US government takes over handling immigration from demons. A demoness and a cop team up to solve crimes/deal with the immigration. It's a black comedy with lots of darker sex and violence. I'm sort of stalled on this one.

A Lesbian Series *

I want to write a new lesbian series. Present day. Older/younger romance. That's all I've got so far. But I really want to do a new lesbian series and I miss writing filthy lesbian hardcore romance. My last lesbian series, Retro Lesbian Dreamgirls, flopped hard and I put a lot of money into covers, so this time I am just dropping the cover art and going with photos no matter what. Also doing present day and not getting cute with retro stuff.

Illustrated CYOA series **

Almost a *** series, but I am still a bit stymied on how to deploy this one. I've written quite a bit of it and all the artwork is done, but I don't know how to release it. I can't do Amazon, I don't like what I've seen of gumroad, and it's way too much of a time sink to give away as a Patreon extra (sorry!). One thing that is luring me is the idea of releasing on CHYOA.COM or some other totally free way. I think I've teased some of the art before.
