More Mechanical Bits - Neglected BMW E30 320i 5-speed - Project Marbais: Part 4

Direct link - https://youtu.be/yFb-1lggqMc

With this video, I'll start doing something I should've done from the get-go. I'll be disabling ads for all Patreons and then shortly before the video goes public, enable them again. You are already kindly supporting me here so watching without interruptions should definitely be a benefit for all of you. Sorry I didn't think of this earlier.

The fix-a-thon on E30 is in full swing, we remove the broken subframe bolt, it gets all-new fluids, clutch sorted, new fuel pump and suspension overhaul with Bilstein B6 shocks. In exciting news, Bilstein is the new supporter of the channel, they provided shocks for the E30 and for the E60 M5 which are coming a bit later.

We also end in the kitchen, as you normally do on automotive channels, and cook a valvelicuos meal.

Enjoy!

Thank you for all the enjoyable, entertaining and motivating hours of media! Your videos motivated me to do more work on my X5 and to go buy an E36 project!

Love this project. Also my Alfa 75 has a surprisingly amount of parts in common with your E30, wish I had the same amount of space to work though

Another fun video to watch! Recently did all the front suspension and wheel bearings on my project and having a press in the dojo is the only way to go. Looking forward to the next installment. Love this car!!

I don't mind the ads in the video, just let them play. It only means more money for you which will lead to better content for us :-)

The car and garage are coming along nicely! Nice to see the banners up and new toys! Also this is a totally random observation but I miss the old popping sound effect you used for the quick part replacement edits πŸ˜…

I don’t mind the adds. It’s free for me and more money for you to make videos with. I just pick up my phone and play some mind numbing game during the commercials anyway. Always let em play!

Another great video! I like how you (I assume) got "brake fluidity" from "Bremsfluessigkeit." Gave me a chuckle. Coincidentally I've also been watching a ton of Jason Cammisa recently, brilliant guy.

I see you hate spilling brake fluid more than you love not using a funnel. Nice work as always.

Yeah, I know, I just don't like the look of it :)

Loved this one : ) FYI, E30 320i came with the same single kinked tailpipe as yours (double tail was for 323 / 325i)...

Nothing else is available

Sreten- new Eibach springs and Bilstein shocks on my Volvo needed to settle for quite a bit. Now it rides some 3cm lower than before, but that took some time. Initially it was slightly higher even than on the original tired setup!

Awesome episode! Keep up the good work! :)

Awesome video as always! A question - why do you use the crappy cork gaskets? Isn't there "modern" ones available? Also you inspired me (and several others as I read in the comments) to get my first BMW, a F31. Which promptly broke just to set the mood. But still really like the car though!

I have a YT Premium, not seeing ads anyways πŸ˜€ but nice move! πŸ‘

Project M-Bais effin rocks :D

Lovely video as always! Thanks for that ad's thing! :-)

Excellent video! At just the right length, too. I love the original rims on this E30, so different now, from anything else on the road. The sound out that puny tailpipe doesn't do that sweet small six any justice, so please πŸ™, follow through on those plans to upgrade. πŸ––πŸ™πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦

Good as always! Would also like to thank you for inpiring me to get my first BMW. E60 530i :) By the way, could it possibly be that the tires are wrong for the car, too low profile? That would at least do a little for the huge gap. Had something very similar on my old Volvo 240, where the stupid tire shop gave me 175/70 instad of 175/80.

Haha cooking the slider valve....I did that too🀣🀣

I didn’t mind the commercials. The early access was always worth it! :)

Awesome start to the week! greetings from the tropics

Back at ist with a fresh video Keep ist up pal ;)
