As you already (probably) know, I have been on a week long vacation with my wife and son. I brought my laptop with me so I could try to finish up an early beta version of these shrooms, and I was hoping to get it up and running a few hours before I actually managed to do it. Most of that has to do with me not being able to actually test it properly on my laptop so I had to do all the testing once I got back home, as well as correcting what did not work as I had intended. Bare in mind that this is _early days_ in terms of the mushrooms, I intend to work a lot more on this, but I wanted to share it with you from it's meek beginning.
How it works
Magic Mushrooms
Buy the shrooms from your CAS assigned NPC Dealer for 40 Simoleons a mushroom - You need to have at least 28% Friendship on your Friendship Level Meter with your Dealer to get the option to buy Shrooms. You may plant these to cultivate your own or eat them directly. (There is a glitch with the whole eating animation currently that I intend to fix).
Once the trip starts it can take a bunch of different turns, there are actually about 50 new buffs for this, but you will only experience 5 of them for each trip. In the future I want to add a lot of additional buffs and debuffs to these 50 buffs as well to make it even more unpredictable and unique for each time you do shrooms.
As it is as of right now, you can only eat one, and you are not able to eat more until all the buffs (even the post trip buff) has faded out. In the future however I intend to make a new set of (equally many buffs) if you eat more shrooms the following days after a trip, where the trip will be a lot weaker (due to tolerance going up quickly with these things). I also intend to make a new set of buffs and effects if you eat two or three at once (stronger buffs and effects that is).
If you want to cultivate your own mushrooms, buy one from your Dealer, buy a planter box from buy mode and plant it, water it, etc, and harvest your own shrooms. Currently I have not yet implemented a way of reselling or sharing them, but this will also come.
MDMA Dealing
I added the Pill Presser to the Dark Web for MDMA Dealers above level 5 in the last update. Turns out it was a glitch in the Pill Presser tuning, making the item not show up in the mailbox. That is fixed now.
Cocaine Dealing
There was a bug with selling High Quality Cocaine Bricks to High Level Clients where the game checked if you have an Average Quality Brick in your inventory instead of a High Quality one. This has been addressed and should be sorted out now.
