Here is a nifty little update. I have finally found some time to actually play the game, which also leads me to sort out a lot of stuff that I thought worked pretty good in theory, but in game annoyed me to no ends. Like those Cocaine Companions. They should act more like human beings now, and a lot less annoying human beings at that. I also added some dealing skill books, and a most called for overhaul of the High Level Cocaine Clients. I have yet to add the same functionality for the High Level Amphetamine Clients, but this will be added soon.
How it works
High Level Cocaine Clients
Click on your Sim and "Cocaine Dealing" to add your clients. You will now be able to choose them from a SimPicker (that actually works this time around).
You remove them the same way as you add them. If you are ever uncertain who your clients are (if you forget, that is). Go to "Cocaine Dealing" and Remove High Level Clients, there you will see who your clients are. If you don't want to remove them, just press cancel.
Holiday Icons
A bunch of you were disappointed that this mod conflicted with LittleMsSam's Holiday Icons mod. I had a chat with her and we figured the best option would be that I added her icons to this mod as well, so now you will have all your icons back, as well as the weed icon.
Cocaine Companions
Several changes has been made to these guys. They should act a lot less annoying now, and if you have WickedWhims installed they won't be jealous of each other.
Skill Books
I added a bunch of Dealing Skill books you can read to level up from 0 to level 9. Remember that you still need to befriend your NPC Dealer and get his permission to start dealing drugs in the first place, though.
To access the Skill Books, just click on any bookshelf and purchase them through there.
Installation Instructions
- Delete all the old Basemental Drugs files from your Mods folder.
- Download Basemental Drugs v1.4.0.59
- Unzip Basemental Drugs v1.4.0.59
- Place the unzipped files in your Mods folder.
- Remember to delete your localthumbcache.package
- If you experience issues with Buying or Selling - place both ofthe files directly in your Mods folder.
- Any other issues, get in touch at my Discord Server

I tend it when it needs to be sprayed for bugs, or weeded, or harvested etc...but it doesn't complete and my sim is stuck in a never ending loop of trying to do those things. All the other ones are fine, it's just purple haze.
2018-08-28 16:34:26 +0000 UTCSounds as if you are having an issue with the hidden buffs that dictate how that system works. I'd try this out: Delete all the Basemental Drugs files from your Mods folder, clear the cache, start up a new game, exit game, reinstall the mod, clear the cache again, and see if that works. If it still doesn't, try to put all your other Mods and CC into a temp folder and see if that solves it, if it does you know that some other outdated or otherwise broken mod or piece of CC is causing the issue to occur, if that is the case you will have to do the 50/50 method to find out which it is.

2018-08-25 22:48:29 +0000 UTCHey, I just answered this on Discord and it is much better to continue the conversation on there, but I can answer here as well for the sake of not looking as if I am not replying; It might be a case of not deleting the localthumbcache.package and clearing your caches, or it could be some other things, like a corrupted save or some other mods causing an issue.

2018-08-25 21:33:08 +0000 UTCSorry if this is a stupid question but have the rules for drug dealing changed in the mod? I'm having instances of customers turning up at my drug dealing Sim's house, asking to buy drugs but the dealer is unable to sell any as the only menu option I get under Basemental is "settings". A couple of times I've realized this was because the relationship score was non-existent - once I've built it up I get the option to sell drugs... but I am also having instances where both the friendship and romance scores are at maximum but I still only get the "settings" option under the menu despite the customer having come to the dealer's house specifically to buy drugs. Am I missing something? :-)

2018-08-25 14:07:50 +0000 UTCAre you at least friends with a drug dealer? If so then after clicking on said sim under Base's pie menu, it should have a drug dealing tab. Clicking on said tab then opens up a menu with the different drugs you can sell.

I went to go make a club for sims with the Clubber trait the other day, but none of the custom traits from this mod appeared on the option list.
