🍷 Wine Maker (Optional Package)

With the Horse Ranch EP we saw the introduction of the Nectar Maker, along with a bunch of references to Nectar. It is quite obvious that this is supposed to be wine, like juice is supposed to be alcohol. Therefore I made it into a wine maker with this optional package.

What Does The Optional Package Do?
Apart from turning the Nectar Maker into a wine maker it changes all the Nectar references to wine and enables your Sims to get drunk from drinking wine. It also introduces a new Yeast item for wine making, and alters the ingredients needed to craft bottles of wine.

Where Can I Find The Wine Maker?
With the optional package installed search in build buy for "Wine Maker" or "Basically Mental Wine Maker". Plop it down on your lot and start crafting. The yeast item can be purchased along with the other ingredients directly from the Wine Maker.

To craft Wine, click on the wine maker and start crafting. That's it. Otherwise it works more or less exactly like the Nectar maker.

Venue List

To make sure this mod works you need to download the updated Basemental Drugs venue list provided in this post. I recommend installing this venue list in a separate folder directly in your Mods folder called: Basemental Venue List. I also recommend updating it whenever there is a new mod version out as I constantly add in new custom venue compatibility from other mod authors.

Choose one of these 2 installation methods. Not both.

Basemental Drugs Installer (WINDOWS ONLY)

• Delete all the old Basemental Drugs files from your Mods folder.*
• Download this Basemental Drugs.exe file.
• Run the Basemental Drugs.exe file.
• Choose which Optional Packages you want included.
• Delete your localthumbcache.package

* If you installed from the installer previously, you can delete the old files by launching the file called unins000.exe in your Basemental Drugs folder.

Basemental Drugs Zip (WINDOWS OR MAC)

• Delete all the old Basemental Drugs files from your Mods folder.
• Download the Basemental Drugs zip file.
• Unzip the Basemental Drugs zip file.
• Place the files in a folder titled Basemental Drugs in your Mods folder.
• Delete the Basemental Drugs zip file.
• Delete your localthumbcache.package
