Go straight to jail. A manager/owner that does that broadcasts to everyone that he cares more about his bottom line than the safety of his staff and even his customers. The fact that she then had to serve the person that attacked her is traumatizing and crazy. I don’t know how much bartenders get paid in Canada, but in the States its not nearly enough to have to deal with that.

You have a responsibility as a boss to make sure your workers feel safe and appreciated at your business. Why would they respect your business if you can't even give them the slightest respect yourself?

Nah fuck the money. If someone is throwing glass at your staff, they should never be allowed back. And they need to go to jail.
