so my drugs are showing up,but i cant use them or do anything with them

Did you set up your NPC roles for dealers? That has to be done as well. Click any sim, then Drugs, then Settings, then NPC Roles. Once you set those up you'll be able to purchase from those NPCs. You can also use the computer to research, once all drugs are researched you can then purchase them on the dark web. Click any computer, drugs, research, then go through them one by one. After one is researched, it'll no longer be an option to research again. Once everything is researched, you can then click any computer, go into Drugs, and I believe the next prompt is Order Drugs or something to that effect. Last but not least, there is a rabbit hole dispensary you can go to if your sims live in a region that marijuana is legal. Click your sim, Drugs, settings, Legalize Cannabis, and select the towns you want. Then go to your phone, Drugs or Travel (can't remember which, I think Drugs), and Dispensary. That'll allow you to buy weed, papers, vaporizers, bongs, etc.

Same when I click on the basemental options it just says settings I can't talk to anyone about the drugs or find a way to buy any since it just give the settings option.

I tossed Better Exceptions from my folder ages ago (like back when Growing Together came out) because it was causing problems. I keep it on my desktop just in case I have an issue that I cant figure out so I can put it back in long enough to scan, look at the scan, then take it right back out. I have only had to put it back in once and to be honest with you all.. It didnt help that much.

Sometimes Better Exceptions can be the conflict as well. I don't leave it in my game. I only add it after an update or if my game is acting up and then it's removed.

ok, i fixed the issue, but it was because i had 2 of the basemental script files in my mods smhhhh. so i hope that's the fix for you

And which one is more updated (I'm a little confused since the latest public version came out more recently than this Patreon version)?

Just wanted to take the time to let you know how much I appreciate the work you do and you for creating and constantly improving the Basemental Collection. I was led to you years ago, and with no regerts, everything just keeps expanding and getting more interesting. 10/10 do recommend. I still have not explored the full mod yet, and I, again, have been a patron for quite a while. (Mostly I just like my sims to imbibe the devil's lettuce, and to give Vanessa Jeong a very interesting back story and crazy wild ride thru the highs and lows of seeking fame.) I refuse to play without this mod. I can't wait to see what's in this new iteration/update. Thank you very much for the added storylines.

I accidentally deleted a comment from Briana Rose saying that their Sim doesn't get drunk. Here is my reply to the comment: If you download Basemental Alcohol (like you mentioned) and install it with Basemental Drugs you will get a bunch of errors in your game. I just tested the alcohol feature now (with only Basemental Drugs installed) and it works exactly as intended. If you are experiencing issues it might indicate that you have installed the mod incorrectly or some other issue that I am sure the support team on the Discord server can help you out with. The link to the Discord server is in the bottom of the post.
